Preparing for Your First Cupping Appointment

A little preparation makes your first cupping visit more comfortable. Eat a light meal two to three hours beforehand, drink water through the day, and wear loose clothing that gives easy access to the treatment area.

Your practitioner will ask about medications, health conditions, recent surgeries and — for wet cupping — any history of fainting or blood disorders. Answer honestly; this screening exists for your safety.

Plan a quiet rest of the day after your appointment if possible. Mild tiredness or circular marks that fade over several days are common.

If you are unsure whether cupping is right for you, book a first-visit consultation — a short conversation with no treatment and no pressure.
